Weekly Recycling Is Coming to Martinsburg on April 1, 2026
Starting April 1 (no April Fool’s joke here) recycling will be collected every Wednesday from every customer, across the City of Martinsburg. Saturday drop‑off at the 325 E. Stephen Street Recycling Center will remain available.
Why we’re making this change:
– A consistent weekly schedule for every customer
– More reliable service with fewer missed pickups
– Less confusion about collection weeks
– Greater flexibility for residents
By expanding our recycling fleet from 2 to 4 trucks, we’re making recycling easier and more dependable citywide.
