MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — There is a planned emergency response training exercise today at the Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport’s Shepherd Field involving fire, EMS, and law enforcement personnel.
If you are in the area of the airport, you may see
Emergency vehicles (fire, EMS, law enforcement)
Military Personnel
Responders in protective equipment
Lights and sirens in the area
Shepherd Field shares a property with the 1-67th Airlift Wing of the West Virginia Air National Guard.
Organizers of the training exercise assure the public there is no threat to the public and residents are advised to continue normal daily activities.
