Community Markets Inc Claimed

Community Markets Inc. (“CMI”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Shepherdstown, WV whose mission is to connect locally grown food to families in need.

CMI’s vision is: healthy West Virginian grown food is on every West Virginian’s plate.

Impact & Programs

In over two and a half years, Community Markets Inc. has fed over 13,700 people in 11 WV counties with 157,000 lbs. of healthy & locally-sourced food and put $398,000 back into farmers and small family business owners’ pockets.

All of CMI’s programs and activities increase food security and access to healthy and affordable food grown in WV for all Appalachian families, especially underserved and low-income families.
